- INTRODUCTION
- ------------
-
- I've bet you've already unarchived this file as quick as possible and had a
- look at all the icons up for offer. I know I would have. This is my
- contribution to New Icon users. Even if you find just one of these good
- enough to use will make me happy! :)
-
- New Icons is still a considerably new standard, so there are still only a
- few New Icons archives out there. (Especially since there are still people
- who use Magic Workbench) If you make some nice icons, don't be affraid to
- put them up on the net.
-
-
- INSTALLATION
- ------------
-
- All these icons are New Icons style. I assume that if you can see the
- icons then you have got New Icons installed. My Workench is setup with
- 640x512 x 32 colours. Any less colors usually cause these icons to look
- poor quality wise. I advise that you use at least 32 colours for good
- results.
-
- Use the CopyNewIcon utility to paste any icon over an older one. For more
- detail, read the documentation.
-
- If you haven't got the documentation because you haven't got New Icons,
- then go out and get it. You'll find it at aminet sites around the internet.
- Look in the /pub/aminet/util/wb directory.
-
-
- ICON LIST
- ---------
-
- So what type of icons have I got for you? Well, some of them are mixes of
- icons in the older archives, edited and tweaked. There are some really
- nice ones which I'm proud of. Some don't adhere to the standard isoicons
- with that 3D look, but hey, some have to be different! :)
-
- - Well, I am also an AMI/TCP user, so I've made some of my own icons.
- - There is an extensive blanker module list. SwazBlanker had icons for its
- modules and I think so do a few others, and so I've made icons for all of
- them, plus others asside.
- - I've also drawn quite a few utility icons. eg. Scala, ImageFX and MUI
- - Last but not least some Simpsons icons. Sure there might not be any
- particular use for them but they look alright. Besides, it helps with the
- "Homer" attribute of the icon collection! :)
-
-
- THE REST
- --------
-
- First, I want to acknowledge Nicola Salmoria hard work for New Icons. I
- can say for sure that he has achieved in making the Amiga desktop look more
- professional.
-
- If you have any comments about these icons, write to
